DEBAUCH MOOD's 29th release is a Japanese punk/hardcore punk friendship split by Asix Boomerangs and ALP$BOYS.
This is a split (7") by two true allies, two bands whose recent shows have been particularly impressive. It will be released in December 2023.
Formed in 2020 in the middle of drunkenness in a park.
The members, who have been involved in several activities since the 00's to the present, began their activities in search of the fun of fitting the common keyword of their youth, "punk", into their present.
Their musicality is in tune with "Japanese punk" hooks and strange tunes,
The songs have a presence that is a cross between the spontaneous nucleus that colored the dawn of Japan in the 1980s and the modern flatness of the 2020s.
The members say that the songs on this album are "Dead Boys in Rock 'n' Roll High School with a touch of 00's weirdness," and that the current experience lyricism is mixed in there, with Vo Zakimiya's vocals with an 80's Japanese Punk feel.
Their music seems to be a reverse "Zunou Keisatsu" from bands that existed in the past, such as early "The Loods"/"Shuffle"/"Nikudan".
Japanese R&R punk, very early Japanese Oi, Young Madness, cute and gutsy are also their charms.
It's simply rock 'n' roll solidity and punk beatitude, like a tasteful dirty hymn in the midst of the times, that makes this A-side so enjoyable.

*member:
Vo:ippe(fredelica)
Gt:Nishida(penisboys, urgh, Tokyo Superstars)
Ba:Atake(COFFINS, Super Structure)
Dr:Kosuke(Daiei Spray, PLAY DEAD SEASON, urgh)
After several member changes since their formation, they have settled on their current lineup.
They perform with as much spirit as if they were climbing the Alps, and through repeated deep exchanges of musical information among the members, they are presenting the most explosive live performances in 2023. The content of this 7" is no less intense.
The music is driven by an exquisite rockin' sensibility with multi-layered feedback, mainly guitar noise, on top of the FUN STYLE Japanese hardcore punk that has been passed down from generation to generation. The rhythm section is tight and versatile, supporting the music with grooves from start to finish. The vocals have a landslide momentum with unique lyrics and growls, making for intense SCUM punk.
There are elements of "Urban Terror's First Shot," "AG ALOE," "Straight Ahead," "NYC Mayhem," and "Rest In Peaces" similar to early NYHC,
There are also ideas that transform the music of the late "Bad Brains" into something uniquely Japanese.
Neo-rockabilly and psychedelic arrangements are also found in the songs, and it would be interesting to hear how they relate to the recent Hardcore Punk in the wider Southeast Asia region.
The four songs with power are the charm of Bside.
